Such a beautiful baby, I really enjoyed photographing her and her sweet family.
This is one of my dear friends who also happens to be an amazing photographer. When she asked me to take family photos for her I was super nervous because it was the first session I had done for someone besides my own kids in a long time. Plus, it's kind of nerve racking to take pictures for someone who does it all the time. They were so laid back and fun to photograph though, that they made me feel really comfortable. The sky was so beautiful that night.
My sweetie is 3 1/2 and some days she can be very difficult to photograph. My kids are the reason I started photography and it's very important to me to continue capturing them daily. My girl was telling me about what she had done with her friends at preschool and I got some really genuine expressions out of her. She cracks me up! I considered editing out the scars on her face but I couldn't bring myself to do it, this is where we are at in life with a 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 year old, lots and lots of boo boos. She is beautiful, scars and all.
The week we did this shoot it was incredibly dark and rainy. Amazingly, the sun peaked out for a couple of hours and we took full advantage of the beautiful light.
This family was so much fun to photograph, they radiated happiness, goofiness and love. They are a perfect example of why I don't think I will ever be able to put a limit on the amount of photos I give a family. I loved them all so much, these are just a few of my favorites.
I might as well start this blog with some pictures of my own cute little kiddos. We went to the tree farm today. We already got a tree a few weeks ago but today we were in search of a Santa that I could take my own pictures of. Unfortunately, Santa wasn't there today but we did get some pretty cute pictures in the trees on this cold dreary day:).
